Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 10, 2026

1. Who we are and what this covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Pickurement, Inc. ("Pickurement," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information. It covers pickurement.com, our waitlist, our sourcing platform and supplier portal, and our emails (together, the "Service").

Pickurement is a business-to-business product. Most personal information we handle is business contact information about our customers' employees and their suppliers.

Our role. For website visitors, waitlist sign-ups, and account holders, we decide how personal information is used (we are the "controller"). For personal information inside the Customer Data our customers upload, such as supplier contact names in a BOM or RFQ, we process it for the customer under our Terms of Service, and also for the purposes described in Section 3. Questions about that data may also be directed to the customer who uploaded it.

We do not collect payment card numbers during the free beta. When billing starts, a payment processor such as Stripe will handle payment details, and we will not store full card numbers.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, health data, or precise location), and we ask you not to upload it.

3. How we use it

We use personal information to:

  • run the Service: create accounts, process BOMs, send RFQs, collect quotes, and deliver Outputs;
  • communicate with you: product updates, waitlist and launch news, support replies, and security notices;
  • train and improve our AI models and the Service , including models that classify parts, match suppliers, and estimate pricing and landed costs;
  • create aggregated or de-identified insights, such as industry pricing benchmarks, that do not identify you or your company;
  • keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and debug problems;
  • understand usage and plan new features;
  • review job applications;
  • meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

About AI training. Customer Data and usage data may be used to train our models, as the Terms of Service allow. We take steps to reduce personal information in training data, such as removing or masking contact details where practical. We do not use your data to show other customers information that identifies you, your suppliers, or your pricing. Organizations that need to opt out can contact legal@pickurement.com.

Marketing. We may send you product and launch emails. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. We will still send account and service messages.

Legal bases (EEA/UK). Where GDPR applies, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests (running, securing, and improving the Service, and B2B marketing), your consent where required, and legal obligations.

4. Sharing, retention, and security

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as follows:

  • Suppliers and recipients you choose. When you send an RFQ, PO, or award letter, we deliver it and the contact details in it to the recipients you pick.
  • Service providers. Vendors that help us run the business under contracts limiting their use of the data, such as cloud hosting, Google Workspace (email), AI model providers, analytics, Squarespace (website), and, once billing starts, Stripe. A current list is available on request at legal@pickurement.com.
  • Within your organization. Admins and teammates on your company's account can see shared workspace content.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Pickurement, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

International transfers. We are based in the United States and store data there. If you are outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to the U.S., using safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

Retention. We keep personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After an account closes, we delete or de-identify personal information within a reasonable period, except what we must keep for legal, security, or dispute reasons. Data already incorporated into trained models or de-identified data may not be removable. Waitlist data is kept until you ask us to remove it or we launch and no longer need it.

Security. We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and limited employee access. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

5. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know and access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • get a portable copy;
  • object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent;
  • opt out of marketing emails at any time.

To make a request, email legal@pickurement.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity and respond within the time the law requires (generally 30 to 45 days). You may use an authorized agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If your information is in Customer Data uploaded by a company, we may refer your request to that company.

California and other U.S. states. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those laws define it, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. The categories we collect, their sources, and purposes are in Sections 2 and 3. If you disagree with our response, you may appeal by replying to it.

EEA and UK. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies. We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and basic analytics to understand usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though parts of the Service may stop working. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required.

Children. The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think we have, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the Service grows. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will email account holders or show a notice in the Service before it takes effect.
